to Quiltworks Unlimited.  My name is Koleen Painchaud and I live in central Maine with my husband Brian. I've been an avid quilter for over 20 years and my passion for quilting and the excitement of a new challenge led me to sever my ties with the corporate American world of money and finance to pursue a new career in longarm machine quilting. 

I teach all aspects of quilting from hand piecing, hand quilting, hand applique, penny wool applique & machine piecing. I've self published a book titled "Hodge Podge...A Unique Style To Free Motion Quilting" in addition to five pantograph designs.  In addition, we are also a Longarm Training Center.

I also have a pattern company called 'The Quilted Cardinal', which has allowed me to publish my own designs. I currently have over 30 designs on the market.

And we are also pleased to announce the arrival of our newest member to the family, 'The Quilters' Oasis, A Quilter's Workshop & Retreat Center.

Let me share my passion and enthusiasm in this wonderful art and the sense of accomplishment in the completion of each timeless treasured memory...and take your unfinished quilt and turn it into the beautifully treasured masterpiece it's intended to be. 

My smoke-free shop is located in a small rural community in Central Maine just outside the State Capital.
